Meat!! Put nothing green in front of me.
What can you be found doing outside the office?
Sitting on a bucket catching pitches or pitching batting practice. My daughters are into softball…and so am I.
Who's someone you admire and why?
Ulysses S. Grant. Grant experienced significant trials and difficulties early in his professional career but his bulldog mentality pushed him to overcome them. That same bulldog mentality drove his success as a Union general in the Civil War, but as his popularity grew, he remained very modest and was known to be “scrupulously honest”.
Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Pitcher in a starting rotation of a major league baseball team. Apparently major league teams aren’t all that interested in an overweight guy that can only throw about 75 miles per hour.
What is your most memorable travel experience?
My dad and I drove to Alaska and back when I was 14. There was a lot of driving but we saw some really amazing things.
One thing you would love to do if you had the chance?
Travel to Hawaii as that is the only state I have not been to. It will happen one of these days.
