Wendy R. Cooley
Wendy Cooley is a tax partner at Seim Johnson, LLP. She has been with Seim for over 15 years. Wendy spends the majority of her time providing tax compliance and planning services to nonprofit clients, including private foundations, hospital systems, social services, religious and cultural organizations. In addition to serving nonprofit clients, Wendy also provides tax compliance and consulting services to individuals, and for-profit corporations and partnerships. Wendy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Nebraska Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is also active in civic and social organizations, including serving as Treasurer on the Elkhorn Soccer Club Board of Directors and as the Treasurer of the Elkhorn High School Softball and Soccer Booster Clubs. She is also a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church audit committee.
What is your greatest fear?
Being enclosed in small spaces.
Who’s someone you admire and why?
My grandfather – he has taught me so much about how the important things in life are free.
Tell me three pet peeves.
Loud chewing, clutter, and aggressive drivers.
Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about?
I can play the piano.
What are you passionate about?
My kids and their accomplishments. I love watching them do what they love.
