The Omaha accounting and consulting firm Seim Johnson is pleased to announce the addition of Kathryn Eisenmenger, Colin Fitzgerald, and Maricruz Mora to their professional team.
The three young professionals all join at the level of Associate I and will work in both the audit and tax areas. They are responsible for executing procedures in all phases of the audit engagement, including auditing various accounts, helping draft financial statements, and more. They will also assist in compiling tax returns for several different clients.
“It is always exciting to welcome new young professionals to the firm,” said Jerry O’Doherty, CPA, CGMA, managing partner of Seim Johnson. “It really reinvigorates the rest of the team and causes us all to think back fondly on the beginnings of our own careers. I am pleased to welcome Katie, Colin, and Maricruz to the firm and thrilled that they chose to establish their professional careers with Seim Johnson.”
Earlier this year, Eisenmenger graduated magna cum laude from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in both Accounting and Management. Aguilar currently lives in Omaha.
Fitzgerald attended Creighton University, graduating in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Accounting. During his time in college, he joined Beta Gamma Sigma, an international business honor society, earned a 4.0 GPA, was named to the Dean’s List each semester, and was nominated for the 2018-19 Heider college of Business Male Student of the Year award. Fitzgerald remains involved with his alma mater via the Heider College of Business Alumni Association. Fitzgerald is a member of a task force of the Nebraska Board of Public Accountancy; he and his teammates are charged with investigating the implications of partial vs. complete adoption of the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct. Fitzgerald resides in Elkhorn, Nebraska.
A 2020 graduate of the University of Nebraska – Kearney, Mora holds a Bachelor Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. While in school, she completed three accounting internships, including one with Seim Johnson. Additionally, she competed in track and cross country during her time at university. Mora currently lives in Omaha.
