Get to know me:
What is your favorite food?
Japanese hot pot, sourdough bread, and nacho cheese. I do not recommend combining all three.
What is one of your favorite quotes?
“Find something you’re passionate about and keep tremendously interested in it” – Julia Child
Who is someone you admire and why?
Jacques Pepin. He is a master of his craft and he’s continuously teaching younger generations how to improve their techniques and skills. His love of his family is apparent in his shows and through his writing and it is fun to watch his interactions with his granddaughter. Even though he is well known and highly talented, it’s clear that simple things and his family (as well as good wine) are the most important to him.
What is your most memorable travel experience?
We took our oldest son to Disneyland for his 4 th birthday, which was over Christmas. It was fun to watch him enjoy all of the attractions, shows and excitement around the holiday season.
What are some causes you care about?
I’m interested in children’s education and well-being. Project Harmony, Partnership 4 Kids and Arts for All are great organizations that support children locally. We’re also a Montessori family and support the curriculum in public schools.
What are you passionate about?
Learning and continuous growth.
